Description:
During this 4-day camp, campers will dig into how computer science and coding empower people to share creativity and solve tough challenges. Campers will gain experience by making interactive games and animations. Each day will have engaging activities using a combination of resources from code.org, different technology, and hands-on challenges.
Whether you are a first time coder, attended an after-school program over the school year, or have lots of experience, this camp will be a great experience to level up your skills. Students will spend time crafting an individual creative project, and building skills like collaboration and debugging that coders use int eh real world!
Bring to Class:
- Bring a snack and water
- Wear school appropriate shoes for outdoor recess
- Apply sunscreen before coming to camp each day
- Breakfast and lunch will be served Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
- Bring a sack lunch on Monday, or every day if you prefer
