Description:
Calling all video game enthusiasts, animation fans, and problem solvers!
During this 4-day camp, campers will dig into how computer science and coding empower people to share creativity and solve tough challenges. Campers will gain experience by making interactive games and animations. Each day will have engaging activities using a combination of resources from code.org, different technology, and hands-on challenges.
Whether you are a first-time coder, attended an after-school program over the school year, or have lots of experience this camp will be a great experience to level up your skills. Students will spend time crafting an individual creative project, and learn about the Scratch community, where their creation can be shared with and played by people from all over the world.
Bring to Class:
- Charged Chromebook or iPad
- Water & snack
- Sack lunch for Monday. Free lunch will be provided on Tuesday-Thursday (or bring lunch)
- Wear gym shoes for outside play
